I cannot see a number of the "Folders on My Computer" that I used to be able to see. However, when I search for messages that I know are contained in them, the searched message comes up, and identifies itself as being in the appropriate folder. How can I make these folders visible to me again? I have rebuilt my database, but to no avail.

If you see this in just one or a handful of folders then right-click or
Control-click that folder, select Folder Properties and click the Empty
button to empty the cache. You can also select the account itself and
empty the cache for all of your folders.

Hope this helps!

Is there any chance that you accidentally dragged the missing folders inside
another folder? I've done that a couple of times.

If any of your folders has a right-pointing triangle to the left of its
name, that folder has subfolders. Click on the triangle to reveal the
subfolders. If your folders are in the wrong place, drag them back to "On My
Computer".

Hope this helps!

Bill,

Folder properties options only seem to occur with server based folders. These missing folders are "Folders on My Computer", and right clicking any of the folders on my computer does not grant me a "Folder Properties" Option, thus can't reset cache. Should this not be the case?

Your original message said both "Exchange" and folders "On My Computer".
From your description I wrongly assumed you were having a problem with
your Exchange account.

You can not clear the cache for folders "On My Computer", so please
ignore my response to you.
