Can't seem to delete a newsgroup?

Any suggestions. I highlight the newsgroup but the button "UNSUBSCRIBE"
doesn't activate? I tried just hitting delete, but that doens't work
either.

HELP.

Where are you selecting it? In the folder listing in the left hand pane?
That won't work.

You need to select it in the list of newsgroups that appears in the right
hand pane when you select the news server in the left hand pane.

Right. I clicked on the right pane as well. The UNSUBSCRIBE button doesn't
activate. For ANY newsgroup that I would want to delete. Maybe there is a
bug? Should I download a new file of Entourage?

Download and install the latest Office X updates, which are the Office X
10.1.7 update and the Office X Security Update (2006-08-08). They're
available from Microsoft.

Note that you can't remove newsgroups from the full list on the right pane.
You can click the news server in the Folder List, select subscribed/bold
ones and then click the "Unsubscribe" button to remove them from the Folder
List, but they will still appear in regular type in the right pane. The
idea is that you subscribe to your most frequently read newsgroups and
access them from the Folder List, and then the rest are available from the
full list if you click the news server button.
