Can't send attachments

Greetings.
I'm using 11.3.6 with OS 10.3.9 with ATT/Yahoo as my ISP. Recently,
whenever I attempt to send an attachment, they'll write back saying
they didn't receive anything. I've done all the database rebuilds,
etc. Can you identify what's wrong and how to fix it? Thanks

Are your recipients getting anything at all? Do they receive a mail
message without the attachment or do they receive nothing? If nothing at
all then be sure to check the E-mail address.

I believe that Yahoo limits attachments to 10MB. What is the total size
of your attachments per email?

Test sending another message and CC one of your own E-mail accounts to
see if you get the message. If you do then the problem is most likely on
your recipient's end.

Hope this helps!

What makes you think Entourage is at fault rather than the more probable
possibility that the recipient's email server or ISP has marked the
attachment as SPAM and removed it, or that the recipient's email
software is malfunctioning?

Without being well versed in these matters, my assumption that
Entourage is at fault is based on the following:
1. I have not had this problem previously, and
2. I'm getting a "received nothing" response from several individuals,
rather than just one or two.

William:

Thanks for your assistance.
1. Recipients are receiving e-mail message but without the attachment.
2. Attachments I have sent are always less than 10 MB (today's was 1.6
MB)
3. I did receive the attachment when I cc'd myself; however, I also
received the following from one:

I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following
addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
<[email protected]>:
Unable to switch to /nonexistent: file does not exist. (#4.3.0)
I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too
long.
From what you said, I would assume that the problem is on the
recipient's end; however, I don't understand the "unable to deliver"
message. Can you interpret for me?

Thanks again.

I believe I've found the problem, and it's a simple one. While
checking preferences, I noticed that I had not checked "send
attachments to cc and bcc recipients." That should explain it.
