Can't send email from remote server

Hi. I¹m in USA and I¹m trying to send email from my usual Australian server.
I can receive just fine, but not send. In the past, while on the road, I
have simply put the SMTP outgoing mail server as the one of the location I
am in and it works just fine. This is not working through qwest.net in
Colorado. I have checked all the help pages and done all the configurations
in the advanced settings of the accounts section, but no joy. Can anyone
help?

Thanks Diane,

I had tried from this page already but did it again and still no luck get
error message Error: -23016

Interesting that I can send to this newsgroup though!

Any further suggestions?

I suggest you install and use tcpflow to monitor your network traffic. It
should give you what is failing.
