Can't send group emails

My single mailings go out fine and I've filled out my group mail same as I
did for my old Outlook Express group folder which never had a problem. I
didn't import those addresses--I entered each address individually. I'm
getting a "Group mail does not send" "permfail destination not valid within
DNS mail. "Mail could not be sent." Error 17099

Mac OS 10.4.2 and the newest Office as of a month ago--with the latest
upgrade (v.11.2.4)
