Can't send to AOL addresses

B

Bette Gardner

When I send email to AOL addresses I get bounce back from Mailer Delivery
Subsystem. No attachments, so that¹s not the issue. Any solutions?

If you could post the error text that appears in the bounced message from
the mail server, that would be helpful.

The recipient might have his or her Mail Controls set up so that your mail
isn't accepted for some reason. For example, if the recipient has his or
her Mail Controls set up so that only mail from AOL members is accepted,
then your mail won't go through. You can learn more about AOL Mail Controls
here:
<http://members.aol.com/adamkb/aol/mailfaq/#mail_controls>

If you are having trouble sending mail to any AOL recipient, possibility #3
on this page might be the problem.

Again, it would be helpful if you could copy and paste the error text into a
new message here so that we could see it. It's likely it could shed some
light on this issue.

AOL has once again led the way in stupidity. You can¹t send HTML mail into
the AOL domain! They can send it to each other but you can¹t send anything
but plain text into the AOL domain.

Hope this is helpful.

This is not correct.
