Can't send to just Bcc

In Entourage v.10.1.6, the "Send Now" button is dimmed, not accessible,
when trying to send just to Bcc recipients. However, Entourage v.11.1.0
will allow this. Is there a fix for this issue for version 10.1.6 and/or
is there an option I'm overlooking? I'd appreciate any assistance and
thanks in advance.

Oh, wow they listened!

This has been a longstanding cause for complaint - that Entourage wouldn't
allow the sending of BCC only messages. They obviously listened and
implemented that feature without telling anyone.

Pre-11 your only option was to put your name (or a non-existent name) in the
to or CC fields. To hide this you could put the address in a group and
deselect the 'show group members' option. Then, only the group name would
show in the mail message for the recipient, and the name could be anything
your chose.

Do what? Send a BCC only email? If I want to send a general announcement to
a lot of unrelated people I will routinely put them all in the BCC field so
as not to distribute their email addresses to each other. Having your own
(or even a dud) mail address in the 'to' field makes you mail look more like
spam when it arrives.
