Can't Sync Entourage With Earthlink

I set up Entourage with my Earthlink account; it imports all my email from Earthlink, and I can read it, but I can't reply to it. The message just doesn't send. What do I do?

Do you get an error? What exactly happens when you hit Send Now? What
do you see in the Progress Window? Is the message still in the Outbox?
