Can't Write Message for E-Mail

Just went to work for a company where I am trying to
utilize Microsoft Web Access. My problem is this. I do not
seem to have a problem navigating through Web Access.
However, when it comes to sending an e-mail, the area
where you write a message is "blued" out, with a red X in
the corner. I can not write text in this area for the
purpose of sending a message.

Any clues on how I can correct this?

Sounds like whoever set-up your permissions on the server
did not do it properly...
