Capturing Novell5x login name

Hi all,

I know, I know... it's been posted many times, but I can't get any of them
to return anything but the Windows login...

Novell Client For Windows login name= 'DubboPete';
Windows XP login name= 'mahs';
always returns 'mahs'...

no matter how many times I search the newsgroup, and try the options and
suggestions out there, it gets frustrating
Please, can someone point me to a definitive (ha! <grin>) solution?

I apologise to the group.

My first posting, entitled 'Capturing Novell5x login name' may have offended
the professionals on the list, that was not my intention. On reflection,
my flippant attitude portrayed in the question was over the limits of
respect for the people who give their own time to help others in this field,
and totally unforgiveable.

Please accept my apology. I do not, and did not wish to offend anyone. I
deeply respect the help that I get from this list, whether that help comes
from MVPs; amateurs such as myself or; people just willing to help others
struggling to come to grips with a complex and often overbearing problem.

I hope to ask the question in a more specific context in the near future,
and provide more details of the problem I encounter, and humbly wait for any
responses.

Hrm. I certainly was not in the least offended, and on Googling for
the message I saw nothing offensive about it!

Sorry I can't help with an answer (having had zero experience with
Novell ID's), but don't feel abashed about your posting style.
