I finally got 12.1.1 to load and now all of my contacts and calendar events
don¹t have the categories that I have previously assigned to them. I went
back through and assigned the correct categories to everything and logged
out. I came back the next day and everything went back to having no
categories assigned. Any idea what is going on?

I started going back through and putting in the categories for all of my
entries. While I was entering them they all disappeared and then reappeared
with no categories again. So I¹m think it has something to do with sync
services. Any ideas of what I should do to fix this problem.

Let¹s eliminate Sync Services as the culprit. Disable Sync Services in
Entourage¹s preferences. Does the problem go away? If yes, try resetting
Sync Services. Details here:

I had a similar problem recently, but it was my system files that were
corrupt after an Apple update.

I did what you said and it seems to be working now. Thanks for the help.

Great news!!! Now that you are set, be sure you have a good backup to revert
to incase things go haywire again.

So am I to understand that categories entered in Outlook and sync¹d to
Exchange will now be part of Entourage?

Sync Services got me hopeful.

Should have known better.

Drat. Can't wait to see what Apple has in store for connectivity to
Exchange, Seems MS is hell-bent on not servicing the needs of corporate Mac
users.

Thanks anyway,
