CATEGORY COLOUR SYNC

Hi,

Been using Entourage on a Mac OS 9.2 since New Year. All my categories are
assigned colours. Since middle of May all my mail comes thru as black, ie
not assigned the relevant category colour. Driving me nuts as my junk folder
has a colour that is now not being recognised, need I say more.

Can you help??

Go to Edit -> Preferences -> General, click the "Address Book" tab, and make
sure the option to "Automatically match message categories to senders'
categories" is checked.

If that doesn't help, you might need to rebuild the database. Quit
Entourage, and then restart Entourage holding down the Option key. When the
Rebuild dialog box comes up, choose to do a Typical Rebuild.

By the way, you should also update your copy of Entourage. The updates you
need are:

* Office 2001 Service Release 1
* Word 2001 Macro Security Update
* Excel/PowerPoint 2001 Macro Security Update
* Entourage 2001 Hotmail Update (necessary even if you don't use Hotmail)
* Office 2001 SSL Security Update

These are all free from Microsoft.
