CD sound tracks in Add in Slide Presentation

The Slide Show options for adding sound don't "light up",
the options remain shaded. I can't add a CD track to my
slide show Presentation.
I have downloaded Microsoft's add-in for slide
presentations. Is there another add-in that I am missing?
I am using Powerpoint 2000 SR-1.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say the "slide show options" and the
"add-in for slide presentations."

Head to http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq for instrux on playing CD tracks in
PPT. You'll want to search there on Sound Across Slides.
