cell("prefix",reference) returns wrong results when in array formula

After hitting a dead-end on the above method for determining averages o
SAT scores, I've redesigned my worksheets with separate ranges for al
three classes of data. Using validation lists, the selections in th
first phase are the only ones shown in phase two, etc.

Furthermore, using custom views, the user will be able to jump from on
input screen to the next without any extraneous cells appearing in an
screen.
