I have an Excel template with numerous sheets. Several of the sheets contain
a database query which auto refreshes when the workbook is opened. The
remaining sheets do not import any data but contain numerous formulas which I
would like to protect. I have tried protecting / unprotecting the cells,
passwording the workbook, etc - but can not figure out a way to keep my
formulas protected that still allows the user to import the data (even with
the auto refresh). The only thing the user needs to be able to do is import
the data and do a sort on the sheets. Everything I've tried to do will not
allow them to import or refresh the data. Any ideas?
