change color of controls on current record only

In order to improve readability of a continuous form that I have created I
would like to be able to change the background color of the controls FOR THE
CURRENT RECORD ONLY. When I set the OnCurrent event to:

Me.txtLname.backcolor = 66667777, all of the text boxes for this control for
all records are impacted. I only want the color of the current record's
textbox to change.

How would I do this? Any ideas?
