Change default drag from 'copy' to 'move'?

When dragging a message from one account to another, Entourage default
copies the message (vs. OL2003, which default moves). Is there a way
to change this behavior?

(On a side note, I am posting this through Google Groups because I
cannot get the "New Post" function to work on the MS Newsgroup webpage
in either Firefox or Safari, and I am behind a proxy server that does
not allow NNTP. Does anyone have any constructive suggestions on
better ways to access the MS Newsgroups?)

Command-drag.

Just like in the folder - option-drag to copy, command drag to move.
Moving a message is the default action within the same server heirarchy,
copying is the default action between accounts/servers.

Yes, this is not a web forum, but a web interface to this newsgroup. The
Mactopia web interface is just one way to access. If you can do an email,
then you can use the Entourage newsreader.

Another benefit is messages are downloaded and searchable by Entourage's
Spotlight search. By clicking on the "more" button you can get older
messages to search for help.

Thanks for the tip. I'd still like to find a way to switch the
default behavior so I don't have to remember to hold down command, but
this definitely helps.

Newsgroups use NNTP, which runs on port 119. Pop uses port 110 and
IMAP uses 143 (by default, all w/o encryption). In any event, my
proxy server blocks all of these ports (I cannot access email accounts
outside my firewall either), so I am limited to HTTP pretty much.

I assume you meant the instructions for setting up Newsgroups on that
page (not the click-throughs for using Google or Mactopia). I was
hoping there was an NNTP server running on port 80 or something like
that, but I will just use the websites when I need to post.

Thanks again
