Change default I.E. Web browser to anything else

Is this possible? I must be crazy, but every other email program
allows to choose which web browser launches when you click on a
hotlink. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyone out there holding
the key to this gatekeeper of a program?

Open Safari - the default browser setting is in the general preferences tab.
For email, it's in the Apple Mail preferences.

seemed logical.
