Change default language from French to Enlish in microsoft office

How can I do this?

There should be a language bar at the bottom which stated French. Double
click on it to bring up the language dialog box. Select English (U.S.). Then
click on the Default button. Ok your way out.

If you are using PowerPoint 2000 and below, click Tools > Language to get
there instead (also work for 2002/XP and above).

Thanks. The language bar at the bottom says Anglais (etat unis) but the tool
bar and instructions are still in French. Is there something else I can do?
