Is there a way to assign a shortcut to toggle between two different
dictionaries (i.e. English and Portuguese) in Entourage 2004?
If you are in Panther, yes, otherwise no.
Go to System Preferences/Keyboard & Mouse/Keyboard Shortcuts.
Make a new Application shortcut (at the bottom) for Entourage.
Type the name of the menu or submenu item , e.g., "Portuguese" but spelled
exactly how it is on your copy, no quotes, and give it an unused keyboard
shortcut. (Hint: very few shortcuts in Entourage use the Control key, so
include that.) Check against scripts you have as well as all the other menu
items.
Then do the same for "English".
That should work. If it doesn't it's probably because there's a conflict
somewhere. It would also be possible to do this via GYU scripting, again
only in Panther.
