Change FROM address in Entourage 2004

In Outlook in Windows I am used to having four different addresses that
I use as FROM addresses. That way, I can answer business and private
mail from the same mailbox. Also, I can choose to let only some people
see my true mailbox address.

Anyway, the way I did this in Outlook was to have my Exchange account
set up and then simply set up three dummy POP3 accounts with the
remaining three addresses.

In Entourage I can't seem to find a way to do this. If I switch
identities all my mail is gone from the Exchange account and anyway it
seems a bit much to close down and restart the program just to change
the FROM address.

Is there a way to get the FROM address field to show when I create a
new mail in Entourage and how do I then set up multiple from addresses?

You can do the exact same thing in Entourage.

Don't create new identities, create new accounts. Tools > Accounts. Set up
new dummy POP3 accounts with SMTP details but no POP3 details.

i second the last post with the directions. it is the same way i do it
and it works better than outlook in many cases.
