Change modified by name in shared contacts

When the user was first created their name was spelled wrong. Then user
account was renamed and all of the email addresses and mailbox alias was
changed. Now, many years later the user shared their contacts. When you
open the contact the "Last Modified By" field shows the incorrect spelling of
the name.

Is there a way to change that to reflect the new spelling without deleting
the account and mailbox?
