Change note lines on handouts?

Hello All,

When printing 3-up handouts the notes area of the page has thick black lines
for people to write on. Is it possible to change those lines, either to
remove them or to make them thinner or dashed? They don't seem to show up in
the handout master view.

The lines are a "fixed" thing that cannot be changed
