Is there a way to un-activate the registration of Office
XP SBE? I need to restore a computer to its initial OEM
condition, whereby each Office program (e.g. Word, Excel,
etc.) can be used for only 50 times before Office has to
be registered.
This computer is going out to a customer who will register
Office. It was mistakenly activated prior to shipment.
I've changed the registry information so that now Office
doesn't display any User or Company information on the
Splash and individual Office documents.
However, the Office program itself is still registered.
Assuming I can un-activate the Office registration on the
computer, I will still have to call Microsoft to reset it
on their end.
Any thought? Thanks in advance.
