Change slide show background color

When viewing a slide show in portrait mode, The unused
area on either side of the slides is always black. Is it
possible to pick a different color? I know you can change
the background color of the slides themselves, but this
has no effect on the background color of the slide show.

Bob,

That area you mention will always be black, there is no setting to change this.

The only workaround I can think of...is to design your slides in "landscape" mode....but only use the "middle third" of
the slide. (kind of a portrait page on a landscape slide)
