Change Text Colot to RED *IF cell value is positve?

I'm creating a performance monitoring excel sheet for my stoc
positions.

I want the color of my PERCENT RETURN value column to be green if th
value is positive and red if it is a negative value. Can I do this i
excel? or do I have to create a vba macro

Hi,

There is another way of solving this problem - you can tweak the number format

Go To Format>Cells>Category>Custom
In the Type field, type the following

[>0][Green];[<0][Red]
