changing countries

i have an american laptop, i am currently liveing in europe and i am writing
C.V.'s for job in europe.
they use different size paper in europe compared to america, how do i change
my word program so it now uses the european paper format?

In Word, click on File | Page Setup | Paper | Paper size: A4 | Default | OK.
If you are prompted to save changes to your Normal.dot global template when
you exit Word, say yes.
