Changing Default Calendar View

M

Michael Jardine

HI. I've got private appointments on my calendar that I don't want to show
when I switch to calendar view. I have created a filter called "View" that
shows only my business-related appointments, but the default view appears to
be "all", so each time I switch to the Calendar view, all of my personal
appointments show. This is quite embarrassing for things like overhead
presentations.

Any suggestions? Please copy your response to my personal email as well,
as I sometimes have a hard time finding the threads here.

Thank you very much!

You need to create a special Category for your "private" email and start
marking your "private" email with that Category, and create a special
Rule to "NEVER" display emails in that Category, then run the Rule on
all folders.

Or, alternatively, you can create a folder just for private email, and
always save such mail in that folder, then create a View which never
shows that folder, and apply the view to the folder.

Thanks but I was referring to Calendar views, not email.
