Changing Default Editor in Outlook

Hi, I have a WinNT 4.0 Workstation with SP6a and Office97 + Outlook 98. For
some reason the option to change the e-mail editor is grayed-out,
effectively forcing me to use Microsoft Word as the editor. I want to
switch to the internal Outlook editor to save memory. I have tried
uninstalling and reinstalling Office but the problem is still there.

Does anyone know the solution to get back the Outlook98 internal editor?
