My Internet Explorer 5.2 no longer works despite reinstalling. I need
to tell Entourage to use Safari as the default web browser when I try
to open web links in e-mail messages. I changed the default web
browser in the OS 10.2.8 system preferences, but that didn't help. I
looked in the Entourage help and Apple/Mactopia websites and can't find
any information on how to do this. Do any of you know how?

Here are the directions for setting Entourage as default email app for
Jaguar. Just change for browser.

Jaguar: Set in System Preferences.

1) Open your System Preferences.
2) Select the Email Tab in the Internet Pane.
3) Click on the ³Default Email Reader² popup and select the ³Selectв menu
item.
4) Navigate to Entourage. By default it is located in
Applications/Microsoft Office folder
5) Click on the Select button for Entourage to set Entourage as your
default mailer.

You can also use these freeware apps:
