Changing grid sizes in PowerPoint XP

Hello.

I seem unable to figure out a way to change the size of the grids in
PowerPoint. I know I can use the pull-down box from View -> Grids and
Guides to change the size, but the displayed grid is always 2 cm by 2
cm (assuming the numbers in the rulers are centimeters). It's this
size no matter what zoom magnification I am at. My screen resolution
is 800x600 if that matters.

Try clicking on the "Draw" button, found at the bottom left of your screen.
If you don't see it go to View - Toolbars - Drawing. Select "Grid and
Guides" a dialog box will open allowing you to select predefined grid sizes.
