I am not able to make changes to an org chart. It opens
fine, but when I go to make changes it gives me the
following error

< the error server application, source file, or item
cannot be found or returned an unknown error. Your may
need to reinstall the server application.>

I have tried everything I can thinnk of and aways get the
same error. I'm open to all suggestions.

Thanks

Hi Kris,

Have you reinstalled (and checked the install options to
make sure all the features are installed) from your
Office/PPT CD? Which version of PowerPoint?

Glenna,
Yes I have reinstalled office 2000 and all features
installed as noraml. What I think happened is the file
became corrupt somehow on the server. I am just hoping
someone has seen this error before and knows a fix for it
because the back up is also corrupt.

Kathryn,
Thank you for the link. I saved it as a FAV for future
knowledege. I breifly looked over it and only saw one
thing with corrupt files and it looked like I tried all
that. But when I have more time I will do more research. I
told the user just to rebuild it because she had to have
it done by the end of the day, Thanks again
