Changing Project Server email notification content

Hello,
How can I remove the text "Below are the latest schedule changes.
Contact your project manager if there are any problems with the
changes." that the users receive in the alerts / notifications? I
couldn't find this text in the MSP_WEB_CONVERSIONS and / or
MSP_CONVERSIONS table.

Thank you and,
Best regards

Hi,
Did you find out how to edit the <default> content of the e-mail
notification? I would like to change the default information and not just
the user-defined added by dialog.
Thanks!

Dale,

I am looking to change the default content of the emails that are sent out
when tasks are assigned-- specifically, here is an example:

Project: wbs test
Assign to: John Doe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Task Name: 50% Revision
Start: Jun 7 '05 Finish: Aug 1 '05 Work: 320h Rem Work: 160h
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The task name is very vague. Obviously, we could have people create detailed
task names, but I was asked "Is there a way that these e-mail notifications
can provide a more robust outline form of the task, subtasks, and
sub-subtasks. Case in point is that the 50% task named below is actually a
subtask under the MEF-IAS ULSS task, but I can't tell from the notification
that it belongs to the MEF-IAS ULSS task."

So, we would want the task name to show up like
Task Name: MEF-IAS ULSS
- 50% revision

or something like that... basically, I need the outline above the task to be
included in the task name in an email. The link I looked at show how to
create your own custom page-- but I want to change the default, not force PMs
to have to choose from a dropdown list of which email they want to send out,
etc.

Any ideas? I looked at the MSP_WEB_ADMIN table, but there is no default
email message that I saw, as suggestedin the MSDN article... that must've
existed for 2002 version, not 2003.

Thanks,
Erica

Does the link posted by Dale include the capability to customize
notifications to Project Managers so that they get a different URL in
the email text? We have two front ends, one that is PKI enabled for
project teams, and another for project managers to work with Project
Pro. When tasks are updated by a team members, the managers get
notifications directing them to the wrong URL. Notifications the other
way work fine.

Thanks,
Steve
