changing signature in 2004

OK, I've gotten the message that it is not possible to customize the
toolbar in Entourage 2004. So, now I'm looking for a work-around.

I frequently go between two signatures when I'm responding to emails.
It's a nuisance to have to go to tools>signature to change it. In
Entourage X, there was a button on the toolbar that pulled up the
different signature files I use.

I'm trying to avoid the slow-down of having to use the mouse (and
inadvertently using the wrong signature in certain emails). Is there a
script that would do this more easily? Or a way I could create a
keyboard command to pull up the box where you can change signatures?

You should be able to see the signature button on the toolbar of a new mail
message window. It's directly to the left of the "Options" toolbar button.

If you use OS X 10.3 or later, you can create a keyboard shortcut for
signatures. See this help article for instructions on how to create your
own keyboard shortcuts in OS X 10.3 or later. For the application, select
Microsoft Entourage, and type the name of the signature as the menu command.
