Changing the calendar colors

I am running OS X 10.3 and using Entourage X.

The default Entourage calendar color scheme is a nasty purplish and
salmon color. I'd like to utilize Entourage, but I can't stand the
colors. I keep thinking that there's got to be a way to change the
colors, but I haven't figured it out yet. Something as basic as
changing the colors better be an option that the user has control over
and you'd think it'd be simple to do, but I'm stumped at this point.

Am I able to change the colors for the calendar? If so, how do I
access those settings?

Sorry, you can't.

MS, in there wisdom, decided purple and salmon produced such a tangible
improvement in performance and productivity that they insist we all use it.
