Changing the default Contacts folder to that in the 'current' pst file

Hi

I use Outlook2000 to plan novels. The Contacts folder is used fo
characters. The Journal and Notes folders record their history an
attributes. All are in a dedicated pst file (novel2.pst).

However, linking a note or journal item to a character is fraught
Pressing the Contacts Button always defaults to the standard Contact
folder in outlook.pst. I then have to navigate to novel2.pst and ope
its Contacts folder to select a character.

Question: How can I change the Contacts default folder, accessed via
'Contacts' button, to that in the 'current' pst file (novel2.pst
rather than the 'main' pst file (outlook.pst).

Thanks

I dont think you can, Contacts accessed are the ones in your default pst.(ie
the one set to send/receive mail)

Don't use a second contacts folder, use categories, then display your
contacts in a category view. Should save you some time.
