Changing the view of received emails?

S

Sparklebug

I'm wondering if there's somewhere I can increase the font size and change
the word-wrap point for emails I've recieved? I've managed to change the
font size for emails I send, but not for viewing those I have received.

Oh, and another question! Is there any way of changing items on the
toolbar for messages? I'd love to have a one-click delete button.

Thanks!

Set Preferences: Entourage -> General Preferences under the "Fonts" tab

Fonts can be set for plain text and HTML. The settings for plain text only
affect what YOU see and not what the sender receives. The receiver will see
the messages with THEIR preferences. When setting plain text, choose what
you like. This is a great feature, especially if you like larger fonts for
easy viewing. However, the font and size you choose for ³HTML messages
(proportional)² do reflect the default font for outgoing HTML mail and is
the what recipient will see.

HTML font size can sometimes be misinterpreted when sent from a Mac to PC.
This has been improved with the latest updates to Office X, but can still
cause problems. This is why plain text is preferred.

If you receive mail from a PC user and the font is small, create a rule
that will increase the font. See also rules 12 and 13.

You cannot change the items on the toolbar.

Do you mean permanently delete or nuke the message so it doesn't even go to
the Deleted Items folder? Assign a shortcut to this script and it's easy
peasy.

There is a script that will permanently delete from a folder rather than
sending messages to the trash.

You can download the free AppleScript from
SomeDude Software; make sure you download the Entourage
version.
