Changing the way a forwarded mail looks

Hello
I have a situation where I receive leads to distribute to sales agents every day via email. The leads are forwarded to me so the top line is "so and so" wrote: and then the lead info. How would one automate the task of stripping out that "so and so" from the mail to be sent back out?
