We have a number of large spreedsheets which are used daily. Some of th
vlookups refer to spreedsheets located elsewhere on the network. In th
past these have worked fine. Just recently the vlookups seem to hav
changed, ie previously a lookup would have looked at say
T:\nickyh\Weekly Figures\WC 15102004\[Weekly Plan 151004.xls]W''kl
Sum'!$A$11:$BR$478,'C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOF
OFFICE\OFFICE\XLSTART\nickyh\Weekly Figures\WC 15102004\[Weekly Pla
151004.xls]W''kly Sum'!BP$1,0)
but now they look at
=VLOOKUP($A11,'C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOF
OFFICE\OFFICE\XLSTART\nickyh\Weekly Figures\WC 15102004\[Weekly Pla
151004.xls]W''kly Sum'!$A$11:$BR$478,'C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOF
OFFICE\OFFICE\XLSTART\nickyh\Weekly Figures\WC 15102004\[Weekly Pla
151004.xls]W''kly Sum'!BP$1,0)
They now seem to be looking locally in the XLSTART directory. We ar
using Excel 97 but a couple of users use office XP whith the transitio
set to Excel 97. The two have worked well together for about a year an
we havnt had any problems.
Can anyone offer any help please
