character counter script

R

Red_Star20

I have this website with two textboxes and want to add a character counter
that limits and shows how many chracters can be typed in the textboxes. I
know some about HTML but nothing about java. I even looked for scripts online
that I could use but the code looks foreign too me.

Here is the website i need to make the changes to for better understanding.
This includes the script as well that I used from another website.
http://www.sba.muohio.edu/sba_home/.../International/apply/applyGOOD2006counter.asp

I need to use that counter for the free response textbosex under travel
experiences and such...

Any ideas?

Try here - the script should work for textboxes as well as text-areas.
