In Excel '97 I've created a financial model that finds "total return" for a
given period (x) by adding monthly and yearly cash inflows that appreciate at
their own monthly or yearly rate of return. The model also takes into
account the "opportunity costs" of ownership (cash outflows) during period
(x).
I would like to create a chart that graphs values for every year up to and
including any given Year (x). Because the model incorporates layered Future
Values, cash flows from previous years become more or less valuable as (x)
increases, making it inaccurate to simply display straight line values from 1
to (x). Is there a function that will allow me display the results of
plugging in all Years from 1 to (x) for any given (x)?
