Chinese garbled in recieved emails using Outlook 2003

I am using Office 2003. When I recieve emails that contain chinese
characters, the chinese is garbled. I do have east asian support enabled in
windows XP. I do not have this problem with the chinese in word or excel
attachements.

Can someone suggest a solution.
