Clear entry from a combo box

Hi guys,
I have built a fuel voucher issue system whereby the numbered vouchers are
entered against an agency and then issued by selecting a voucher from the
dropdown combo box.
My problem is how do I ensure that once I have selected a voucher number it
does not show on the dropdown box any more?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance
