Hi all,
This question has been asked a couple of times before, and it always seems
to get the same (wrong) answer. But I haven't found the right answer yet,
so I'm going to try again in case someone else has figured it out!
The question is, "How do you clear the Junk E-mail Type field once it has
been set by Outlook?"
Now, before you say "Add the sender to the Exception List," it has been my
experience that adding the sender to the Exception List (or removing the
sender from the Junk Senders List) will only prevent FUTURE messages from
being flagged. It has no effect on existing messages which have the Junk
E-mail Type set.
I have tried editing the Read Message form to show all fields, and clearing
the Junk E-mail Type field manually. However, no matter what I type or
delete from the field, it is always reset to "Junk E-mail" as soon as I
leave the control.
Is there a way to access the "Junk E-mail Type" field (or property) through
the Object Model? In theory, it would be super easy to write a VBA macro to
clear the field's value--if it's accessible (and writable).
I've been struggling with this issue for a long time, and any help would be
VERY appreciated!
Thank you,
Boris Nikolaevich
