clear list

Thanks for your suggestions. I tried to find it in the help files,
but apparently not enough. To bad there isn't a clear list button.

Ummm... Since you haven't given us a clue as to what exactly you tried,
or what "it" is that you can't seem to find in which "help files", we
have no absolutely no idea what you are talking about. With the missing
context, we also have no idea how your proposed "clear list" button
might function (what list would be cleared? where would this button
appear?)

Those of us whose worlds do not center around you can only assume you
are referring to a previous topic in this news group where people have
offered suggestions to fix a problem of yours. If so, rather than
creating a brand-new topic/thread with the title "clear list" what you
should have done was reply to a message in the old thread so the rest
of us can see your message in context.

Also, it's always a good idea to quote the message to which you are
responding, so us poor schmucks who get to read your post aren't left
wondering what in god's name you are talking about.

In the future, for your sake and ours, please show a little common
courtesy and follow good etiquette!

Just a wild guess here....

You want to clear addresses for the Most Recently Used (MRU) AutoComplete
list.

Entourage X and 2004: To clear ALL there is a preference in Mail & Compose: Clear List button. There is also an option in the preferences to
disable this feature all together.

Entourage 2001: There is no Clear List button. See: How to Remove Addresses
from the Entourage Address Cache

Your reply was wrong on the first point, right on the second. I was
replying to Diana Ross who gave a helpfull professional response.

Thanks for the tips.

JR, His name is God and He has provided many good tips in His manual,
such as
1 Thessalonians 5:15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong,
but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.

I'm sorry if I offened you.
HIs,
Tony
