Clear video resolution in PowerPoint

What is the best format to use for clear resolution video within
PowerPoint? I have created Flash animations that I need to run within
PowerPoint on a PC. I have converetd these into multiple formats -
MPEG1, AVI, Real Media - and the MPEG1 works, but the screenshots
within the animations become almost illegible. These same screesnhots
look great in the executables - is there a way to get mimic the crisp
size and resolution of my Flash executables in a format I can play
within PowerPoint on PCs?
