Clearing send folder

I deleted some spam email and the program keeps trying to
send them a message. How can I clear it so it will stop?

Send them what message? What version of Outlook are we talking about? What
SPAM filter are you using?

I am using Outlook 2002 and I have Norton Antispam 2004.
When I deleted a message it told me (Outlook), that the
message had a request to notify the sender when the
message had been deleted. I told Outlook not to reply,
but I think it is trying to anyway. How do I clear the
folder so it stops trying?
