Clickable links in msgs open up browser but get blank page, URL not travelled to?

Don't know what I've done this time around. Fairly new installation
but my clickable links in messages open up a blank page in my browser
and not the desired URL. Have tried everything I know, but haven't
been able to fix this. What am I looking for to fix, pls? Tx!

Sorry, pls ignore this msg. I found steps that fixed the problem. I
didn't remember exactly what the issue(s) was/were. Once before a
while back I'd had difficulties with a DDE setting (which is what I
couldn't remember). Anyway, didn't know if that would fix this
particular problem but stumbled around and did find solution on this
