Clipart Shared Catalogs & Reg Key Set Up

In our organisation, we wish to set up a shared catalog
of clipart images for use by all users. However, the
images themselves will be referenced directly from each
user's C:\drive allusers\shared documents drive.

This causes a problem for us when trying to format the
required reg key to set this up on each user's login.
Because when referencing a shared catalog from a c drive
location rather than a server, a volume id is
automatically added to the key which is then not
transferrable to other's pcs.

Does anyone have any solutions for this? We have already
tried manually editing the regkey to remove the volume id
and this will not work.

The regkey is at:-

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0
\ClipOrganizer\Shared Catalogs\Catalog0MMCPath

and an example value for this:-

file:///C:;driveType=3;volumeID=68464049\Documents%20and%
20Settings\All%20Users\Documents\sharedstore.mgc
