Close original message after reply or forward

Original message was still open after reply or forward. I think it would
make sense if it closed itself. I went through preference and it seemed
that no such setting was available. Is there any way to do? Thanks.

I'm running Entourage 2004 v11.2.1 on OS X v10.4.3.

You might want to check out another view other than opening the message in
it's own window. I enjoy the 3 pane view.
